Ashara Zavros. Ashara Zavros Customization 4 Cartel Market. Plagued Ashara Customization Rakghoul Event. Even after the romancing, her dialog do not change much. I believe they wanted to portray her as conflicted, but rather than always been in some middle line she seems to swing hard to one side and the other depending on the situaton.
Even if you are light sided or a moderate like dark, but not put children on a spike for fun dark, bit like Marr lets say, or a dark progressist like Malgus, which makes sense to not be a traditionnalist due to inq background she makes little sense sometimes. The whole permission from the council to marry is just a massive facepalm at that point.
I mean there are ways to be a "jedi" that decides to reject the code without going full psycho mode. Having a strong moral compass, but not the narrow-mindedness that comes with the Jedi code. Keeping her whole not wanting to butcher innocent part, but with an eagerness for any new knowledge, regardless if its dark or not, and a certain impulsive streak and pride fit her core values we see on Taris.
But without embracing fully the Sith way, at the very least there should have been a clear rejection of the Jedi Order, even if not the totality of their philosophy, for her recruitment to make sense.
We'll see if they adjust her a bit in whatever KoTET chapter she might return in if she does in this expension.
What is sure is they suggest she rejected both jedi and sith and is seeking her own way. We'll see how that goes when we meet her again. You have a 5 year gap for her to have made up her mind devs, use it wisely please :P.
JLazarillo I think part of the problem might come from the adjustments to companion conversations in 4. When the game came out, and conversations were affection based, you'd likely only see Ashara's personal arc if you were doing things that she generally agreed with especially in her case, since she did not exactly respond well to gifts.
Hence the idea that you were eye-to-eye with her in terms of goals was a little more believable. This tends to happen with other companions as well, honestly, I think it's more pronounced with some of them Light!
Jaesa for example. As for her character, she does evolve quite a bit by the end of her personal arc All rights reserved.
